Dragon Archive City
Overview
At Mandalangan Peak Prep, Dragon Archive City is the formal name of the Archive students enter during sleep. It exists within the dream realm governed by Zhougong and is structured as a city operating as a system of record, containment, and controlled access.
Students commonly refer to it as the “Dragon Vase Archive.” The reason for this name is not explained within the institution.
Structure and Segregation
The City is organized along a central axis connecting multiple districts.
Open districts are used for study. Restricted districts contain unstable or incomplete records. Sealed districts are not accessible and are understood to hold materials requiring containment. Access is determined by classification.
Position
The City exists within the dream realm governed by Zhougong, positioned between the living world and Gwicheon. Students are not required to understand this position to enter.
Access System
Students enter through the Archive Bead during sleep. Physical entry is possible through the Dragon Vase, which is kept in classified locations within schools and Ministry facilities.
Function
The City organizes and stabilizes recorded elements across different states of existence. Students interact with the system but do not control it.
Authority — Zhougong
Zhougong governs the structure of the City. Students do not interact with him as part of standard access.
