Archive Bead
Overview
At Mandalangan Peak Prep, the Archive Bead is issued as the access artifact allowing students to enter Dragon Archive City during sleep. It is assigned upon enrollment and remains active for the full duration of the student’s life. Students, repurposed individuals, and alumni retain access under the same condition once issued.
Student Use
Students enter Dragon Archive City during sleep through the bead without physically leaving the school environment. This method exists to maintain physical safety while allowing continued exposure to Archive conditions. Entry through the bead does not alter evaluation, ranking, or institutional standing.

Lifespan Condition — Sidapa
The bead remains active for the full span of the student’s life. That span is not disclosed. Sidapa is identified as the origin of lifespan determination, and neither the school nor the Ministry defines or reveals this condition. No student is told how long they have, and no system provides that information.
Variation in Archive Bead cost is observed across students and corresponds consistently with this condition. The duration itself remains unknown.
Payment Structure
Archive Bead provision is separate from tuition. Families who are able to contribute provide a one-time lifetime payment, while those who cannot are covered by the Ministry. Additional contributions do not affect access, evaluation, or outcome.

System Use of Funds
All proceeds are directed to the Ministry’s ritual system. These funds are used to produce materials for controlled burning rites, which are transferred to Gwicheon and sustain a shared system supporting spirits without active family support. The student does not receive a personal benefit from the payment.
Student Position
The Archive Bead is not a reward and not a marker of status. It is an assigned condition tied to a life already measured and a system already in operation. Students are expected to carry and use the bead as part of their presence within the institution.
