Kan-Laon — Foundational Authority
OVERVIEW
Kan-Laon is recognized as the foundational authority behind Mandalangan Peak Prep, not as an active ruler, but as the force that defines the land and conditions in which the institution exists.
The school does not stand on neutral ground.
It stands within territory that was shaped with intent.
ORIGIN OF THE SITE
Before the Philippine archipelago emerged, the area now occupied by Mandalangan Peak Prep existed beneath the sea. The institution is believed to have been established within this submerged environment and carried upward as tectonic shifts gradually formed the islands.
This transition is consistent with domains associated with Kan-Laon.
The land did not simply rise.
It was allowed to.

BOUNDARY CONDITIONS
The boundary conditions enforced by Mandalangan Peak Prep are widely understood to be linked to Kan-Laon’s influence.
Movement within the institution is permitted.
Movement beyond it is controlled.
Students who attempt to leave beyond Mayaw are returned without exception, regardless of method. These corrections occur without visible intervention, suggesting that the boundary is not mechanical, but environmental.
The land itself enforces the rule.
INSTITUTIONAL ALIGNMENT
While Mandalangan Peak Prep operates under the Ministry of the East, its physical and structural alignment remains distinct.
The Ministry governs systems.
Kan-Laon governs conditions.
This distinction is maintained within internal classifications.
IMPACT ON STUDENTS
Students entering Mandalangan Peak Prep are subject not only to institutional evaluation, but to the conditions of the land itself. Stability, adaptability, and alignment are not measured purely through academic or functional performance, but through how individuals respond to an environment that does not adjust to them.
Those who adapt remain.
Those who do not are filtered.
NOTES
Kan-Laon is not taught as mythology within the institution.
He is treated as context.
