Bella Impact is a social impact initiative built around Bella the Sunshine Girl—created to support children and communities through culture, storytelling, and long-term partnerships with local organizations.

Rather than operating as a traditional charity or foundation, Bella Impact works by placing a lasting cultural asset into the hands of trusted local institutions. Each participating NGO becomes a steward of Bella in its own country or territory, using the character to support education, care, and community programs in ways that are locally relevant and sustainable.

The initiative is supported by a structural framework called Permanent Licensing with Exclusive Territorial Stewardship (PLETS), which enables one organization per territory to steward the character over the long term.

At its core, Bella Impact is guided by a simple belief:  
lasting impact is built when institutions are given ownership, dignity, and the ability to sustain themselves over time.

Bella Impact is designed to be:

• long-term, not campaign-based  
• decentralized, not centrally controlled  
• culturally adaptable, not uniform  
• independent of the author’s continued involvement  

The result is a global network of local stewards—each using the same character in ways that reflect their own communities’ needs.
