The Doctrine of Alignment
Overview
The Doctrine of Alignment governs all institutions operating under the Ministry of the East. It establishes the standard required to maintain stability across all domains and applies without exception to all recognized forms of life.
Scope
The Doctrine does not distinguish between human, spirit, god, or revenant. All are measured according to the same criteria. Origin, status, and classification do not alter evaluation.
Alignment is defined as the ability to exist without causing systemic disruption.
Implementation
All institutions are required to observe and measure alignment continuously. Individuals who remain within acceptable thresholds are permitted to continue within the system.
When deviation is identified, corrective measures are enacted. Correction is the primary directive and is executed through controlled and monitored procedures.
Escalation
If correction fails to restore alignment, removal is authorized. Removal is enacted to preserve system integrity and is not classified as punishment.
Decisions of removal are conducted under review and are not subject to external appeal.
Compliance
Failure of an institution to enforce the Doctrine constitutes non-compliance. Such failure may result in direct Ministry intervention.
The Doctrine of Alignment is not subject to revision at the institutional level. It exists as the governing standard under which all institutions remain operational.
