The Saint Moritz Video — The Clip That Created ALCASS

Long before Stella arrived at Saint Claire, there was already a video everyone knew.

Students simply called it the Saint Moritz clip.

The footage lasts only a few minutes, but within that short span it captured a moment that would quietly change the way students talked about Cass Young.

The video was recorded by a Saint Claire student visiting Switzerland that winter. While walking through a snowy plaza in Saint Moritz, the student recognized someone familiar standing near the center of the square.

It was Cass Young.

At Saint Claire, Cass was already someone people noticed without quite meaning to. Calm, composed, and quietly admired, she had a way of drawing attention even when she seemed to be doing nothing at all.

So the student lifted his phone and began recording.

At first, the footage looks ordinary.

Cass is standing in the snow when Alex Medina suddenly runs toward her from across the plaza and pulls her into a hug.

The two laugh like people who have not seen each other in a very long time.

Then Alex presses a playful kiss on Cass’s cheek.

Cass groans, covering her face, clearly embarrassed.

The friends watching from a nearby café begin laughing.

But the moment that made the video famous comes seconds later.

Alex turns Cass gently by the chin and kisses her on the lips.

Cass freezes.

Before she can react, Alex leans in again and steals another quick kiss.

Cass stares at her in disbelief—then bursts into laughter and shoves Alex straight into the snow.

From the café window nearby, Ava suddenly slams her hand against the glass.

Her voice carries clearly through the winter air, loud enough for the phone microphone to catch.

“OH COME ON, ALEX — YOU WAITED YEARS FOR THAT AND THAT’S ALL YOU’RE GIVING HER?!”

Inside the café, Isabel nearly falls out of her chair laughing. Bea hides her face in both hands.

Standing slightly behind them is Lucas Tan.

For a moment he says nothing.

He simply watches the scene outside—the snow, the laughter, Alex still lying on the ground and Cass throwing a handful of snow at her.

Then Lucas quietly looks away from the window and steps back.

The video continues for another minute or two—friends laughing, Alex shouting something back from the snow, Cass trying unsuccessfully to look annoyed while laughing.

But by then the moment that mattered has already happened.

Two kisses.
One shout caught on camera.
One silent reaction no one could quite explain.

When the student returned to Saint Claire, the video began circulating through private group chats.

Within days, almost everyone at school had seen it.

And within days, the video had a name.

ALCASS.
