Four Writers, One House

Stories inside Still Poetry House rarely begin the same way.

Some start as a poem written in the quiet of the morning. Others begin with a character that refuses to leave the writer alone. Sometimes a place appears first—a school, a city, a house—and only later do the people inside it begin to speak.

What these stories share is the studio where they are written.

Still Poetry House is shaped by four authors who work within the House, each focusing on different genres while contributing to the story worlds that continue to grow inside it.

CASEY HUANG

Poetry · Children’s Literature · Narrative Fiction

Many of the House’s story worlds begin with the kind of small idea that seems simple at first—a fragment of a poem, a quiet emotional moment, or a relationship that carries an unspoken tension.

This is often where Casey Huang starts.

Her writing moves between poetry, children’s stories, and narrative fiction, exploring the subtle turning points that shape a person’s life. A realization, a conversation, or a memory can quietly alter the direction of a story.

Some of these ideas remain intimate pieces of writing.

Others slowly expand into entire narrative worlds.

ASH WANG

Fantasy · Mystery · Speculative Fiction

At another desk in the House, the stories begin to shift. Ash Wang writes across fantasy, mystery, and speculative fiction, exploring worlds where the unexplainable does not exist without structure. What appears supernatural is often governed, observed, or contained—shaped by systems that operate just beyond what can be seen.

Some of his stories draw from myth and folklore, while others unfold within controlled environments—archives, institutions, or enclosed worlds where rules are present even when they are not fully understood. Rather than relying on spectacle, his work builds through quiet tension and consequence, revealing larger orders beneath what first appears unfamiliar.

LUMI HAN

Romance · Romantic Comedy

While some stories explore fear, others focus on something far more complicated: relationships.

Lumi Han writes romance and romantic comedy, observing the misunderstandings, coincidences, and emotional risks that shape how people fall in love.

Her stories often balance sincerity and humor, following the unpredictable ways people meet, connect, and sometimes change each other’s lives.

Through her work, the House remains grounded in stories about human connection.

RHYTHM TAN

GL · BL · Romantic Comedy

Rhythm Tan writes across several romance lanes, including Girl Love (GL), Boy Love (BL), and romantic comedy.

Her stories often center on character-driven relationships that develop gradually over time. Instead of rushing toward resolution, her narratives allow emotional tension to unfold slowly, giving space for longing, recognition, and change.

Many of the House’s romantic story worlds grow within this lane.

HOW THE HOUSE WORKS

Although each writer focuses on different genres, the House does not treat these lanes as rigid boundaries.

During early development—when characters, settings, and themes are still forming—writers often exchange ideas and perspectives. Conversations between authors sometimes open new directions for a story that might not have appeared otherwise.

Some projects remain the work of a single writer.

Others grow through collaboration.

In this way, Still Poetry House functions less like a traditional publisher and more like a creative studio where stories evolve over time.

WHERE THE WORLDS CONTINUE

Some stories remain single books.

Others expand.

Characters return.
New perspectives appear.
Entire histories begin to emerge behind what once seemed like a single narrative.

Many of these universes—along with the characters, places, and events that shape them—can be explored further in the Story Worlds section of Still Poetry House.

Because sometimes a story is only the beginning.
