Mengzhan Network (梦站系统 · Dream Station Network) — Transit System Record

Overview

The Mengzhan Network (梦站系统 · Dream Station Network) is the primary transit system of the East Empire, enabling passage across territories and domains without requiring continuous distance. It operates through designated stations that do not correspond to surface infrastructure and cannot be accessed outside aligned entry points.

Structural Composition

The network operates through two primary lines

The Blue Line (Baku Line) follows the island and coastal arc, connecting South Korea, Jeju, Japan, Okinawa, Taiwan, Sirena Bayang, Mayaw, Manila, Jakarta, Bali, Singapore, and Malaysia.

The Red Line (Qilin Line) extends across the continental axis, connecting inland territories beyond the coastal system.

Both lines intersect at Mengzhan, the central station within the dream-layer, where transfer occurs without interruption of flow.

Operational Function

The Mengzhan Network maintains continuous motion without requiring continuous distance. Passage does not traverse all intermediate locations. Instead, the surrounding environment is replaced while the route remains unchanged.

At designated thresholds, trains pass through a ceramic boundary bearing the dragon insignia of Zhougong. The train does not slow at these points. The transition does not interrupt movement.

Behavioral Conditions

Passengers remain in motion throughout all segments. No signal indicates the moment of transition.

Recognition forms after the shift has occurred. Light, reflection, and spatial depth no longer align with prior conditions, though no single change confirms the transition.

Passengers cannot identify the exact point of crossing. Reports vary across individuals, and recorded sequences do not match.

Repeated travel reduces attempts to detect the shift. Attention shifts toward arrival rather than transition.

Access and Restrictions

Access is granted through designated stations aligned with the East Empire. These stations are not mapped and do not correspond to visible transit systems.

The network does not override restrictions at any destination. Passage does not permit entry into domains that remain environmentally inaccessible.

Certain stations operate under undisclosed conditions. Entry is not negotiated within the system.

Position Within System

The Mengzhan Network functions as a connective layer across the East Empire, allowing passage between domains while preserving their independence. It enables proximity without continuity and access without full integration.

The City can be entered without sleep, though access is not handled in the same way. The object that permits this entry is not explained within the system.
